Meet Erika

I'm Erika von Kaschke, placemaking and identity mentor, facilitator, author, and founder of Design for More. Whether you meet me in a workshop or see me with my husband and three children, one thing stays the same: I thrive on bringing people together and creating spaces where identity, belonging, and purpose can take root.
I believe that identity and placemaking are vital tools for helping people find their place in the world. Through lament writing workshops, creative mentoring, community building, and storytelling, I help others uncover their inner design and sense of place. When we know who we are and where we belong, we can live with greater clarity, purpose, and courage.
Highlights of my work include co-developing the Ubuntu Vista youth initiative and leading the See Me See You cultural responsiveness program at Multicultural Futures. You’ll also hear my voice on podcasts like The Cinnamon Stick and The Good Life Unpacked, and guiding reflective practices on wellbeing apps like Insight Timer.
From young people navigating change to communities seeking deeper connection, I’m here to walk alongside the journey—helping you find your voice, your place, and your purpose.
